How to Size Your Rug Pad

For the best fit, choose a rug pad that's approximately 1 inch shorter than your rug on all sides. This allows the edges of your rug to taper naturally to the floor, helping reduce tripping hazards while keeping the rug pad hidden from view.

If needed, your rug pad can be easily trimmed with a sturdy pair of household scissors for a custom fit.
